The discharge in our Direct Drive High Intensity
Mixer is similar to that found in our conventional Belt Driven High Intensity
Mixer. The discharge plug matches the bowl contour and allows proper sealing of the
mixer. The plug is pneumatically actuated with a flange mounted
Cylinder.
The discharge assemblies can be supplied with features that support
easy cleaning. Many applications require frequent change outs throughout the day.
To lessen the likely hood of cross contamination Reliance offers many options to
facilitate cleaning as shown below. The discharge unit can be hinged so that
it can swing out as operators are cleaning. Blow Down Nozzles can be placed on
the Access Cover to facilitate in keeping the internal sections of the
Discharge Assembly clean when material is leaving the
mixer.
