The Reliance Universal Medium Intensity Mixer discharges material from a pneumatically controlled plug located at the bottom of the bowl. The plug is contoured to the shape of the bowl bottom to insure an airtight seal. A hinged access cover is provided to allow for easy clean out. Blow down nozzles can be welded onto the access cover to assist in keeping the discharge clean  .
