Medium Intensity Mixing:
The purpose of Medium Intensity Mixing is to
primarily disperse all materials and create a homogenous mix on the final product. The
generation of heat and energy is minimal and not a necessity for the material. The tip speed of
the mixing tools will be between 6-8 rpm in Medium Intensity Mixers. Additional tooling such as
choppers maybe needed to aid in removing clumps and agglomerations.
